Joe Spallina, the head coach at Stony Brook University since 2012, is an assistant coach with the U.S. women's national team.

The engineer of the nation's best turnaround in 2012 and winningest coach in program history after only three seasons, Spallina has Stony Brook competing annually for the America East title while also bursting onto the national women's lacrosse scene. Through the 2021 season he has a stellar 159-30 overall mark, a 55-2 record in America East action and eight consecutive America East titles and NCAA Tournament appearances.

Alex Frank, an assistant coach with the U.S. women's team, is the head coach at Dartmouth College. Frank went to the Ivy League school in the summer of 2019 and led the Big Green to an undefeated mark of 5-0 in 2020, with wins over ranked Massachusetts and Florida teams, before the season was cut short due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

U.S. women's assistant coach Amy Altig has been the head coach at the University of Delaware since the 2020 season.

Altig went to Delaware after a run of success at Penn State as an assistant coach. With Altig on the sidelines, the Nittany Lions garnered 111 wins at a clip of .631 with seven NCAA Tournament appearances and two trips to the NCAA Tournament Final Four.  Prior to her time at PSU, Altig held assistant coaching stints at Princeton University (2007-10) and the University of Richmond (2005-07).
