About USA Lacrosse

The home of lacrosse

USA Lacrosse, a Recognized Sports Organization of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, is proud to serve the sport by bringing the energy and excitement to our efforts that the players, coaches and officials bring every time they step on the field.

We collaborate with passionate experts across the sport to create opportunities for people to enjoy the sport, learn about the game, keep participants safe and ensure that everyone feels welcome.

Collaboration is something the organization was built upon. We were established in 1998 as US Lacrosse following the merger of eight national lacrosse organizations, mostly volunteer-run, to help bring more resources to the sport. In 2021, the organization's name was rebranded to USA Lacrosse.

Today, USA Lacrosse serves more than 400,000 members and we have invested more than $300 million into the sport's development since our inception. We're ready to do even more. Join us.

USA Lacrosse acknowledges that our national headquarters was constructed on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of Native nations and communities. (Native Lands map)  We recognize and respect Indigenous Peoples, past and present, as the traditional stewards of this land, and we honor the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous Peoples and their traditional territories.

Our Mission

As the governing body of lacrosse in the United States, USA Lacrosse fuels the growth, enriches the experience, and fields the best National Teams.

Our Vision

We envision a future that offers everyone a lifelong opportunity to enjoy the sport of lacrosse.

Since its founding in 1998, USA Lacrosse has gone through several looks and even our name change from US Lacrosse to USA Lacrosse in 2021. The original logo debuted in 1998 following the merger of several national lacrosse organizations. The interlocked logo was adopted in 2003 and remained in place until the rebranding to USA Lacrosse in 2021. The national teams, which had used the logos on the far right since 2010, also switched to the singular USA Lacrosse logo in 2021.
