USA Women's Field Team to Hold Training Camp in January

By Brian Logue

The U.S. Women’s Field National Team will hold a training camp in Chestnut Hill, Mass., from Jan. 7-9, 2025 and head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein has invited 36 players to the camp. This will be the second camp led by Walker-Weinstein, who was named the program’s head coach earlier this year.

The U.S. team will hold one more training camp at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., ahead of the Pan American Lacrosse Association Women’s Continental Qualifier, which will be held in Auburndale, Fla., in June 2025.

The lineup for the January training camp is primarily made up of players that competed with the U.S. team during the IWLCA President’s Cup in Florida in November, but eight additional players – including 2022 U.S. training team member Katie O’Donnell, 2024 U.S. box training team member Courtney Taylor and 2024 U.S. U20 gold medalists Lydia Colasante and Brigid Duffy – have been invited among the 36 participants.
