USA Lacrosse, in partnership with presenting sponsor MedStar Health, is hosting an in-person Sports Medicine Symposium on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Baltimore Convention Center. With a central theme of athlete mental health and wellness, the one-day event will feature multiple sessions with national experts providing comprehensive information on this important topic.
While designed primarily for athletic trainers, sports medicine physicians, and mental health clinicians working in youth, high school, and collegiate sports settings, registration is open to anyone (coaches, administrators, athletes) interested in learning about the latest in athlete mental health and wellness. The Symposium is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on January 20.
Online registration is available at www.usalacrosse.com/symposium, with registration fees offered at three different price points. Early bird registration, now open and available through Jan. 1, is $95; regular registration, from Jan. 2-19, is $125; and walk-up registration on Jan. 20 will be $150.
The Symposium will feature six different presentations and two defined Q&A sessions. The topics to be presented are:

"I believe our presenters will be able to provide some varied perspectives and insights about this timely issue of athlete mental health," said Dr. Andrew Wolanin, co-chair of the Symposium planning committee. "We believe that this event will be very beneficial to all attendees.”
The Symposium is also supported by DJO and Stryker.
