By Brian Logue

SPARKS, Md. – USA Lacrosse has added two locations in California to its lineup of Regional ID Clinics for the 2025 National Team Development Program.

USA Lacrosse will host Regional ID Clinics for U17 and U19 boys and girls in the San Jose and San Diego areas. The San Jose clinics will be held on April 26 at St. Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif. The San Diego clinics are set for April 27 at San Diego State University.

Launched in 2019, the National Team Development Program annually encompasses approximately 1,500 athletes and offers them high-level training and instruction while evaluating them for inclusion for the U.S. Youth National Teams.

Following the Regional ID Clinics for the U17 and U19 age groupings, approximately 350 players will be invited to USA Lacrosse headquarters for national combines. The girls’ combine is set for July 28-31 and the boys’ combine will be held Aug. 4-7.

Following those combines, 24 players will be named to the U17 and U19 U.S. Youth National Teams for each gender.

The U.S. Youth National Teams will play against international competition this fall. The teams will compete at USA Lacrosse headquarters the weekend of Sept. 18-21 and the U17 and U19 teams will participate in the Brogden Cup at USA Lacrosse the weekend of Oct. 23-26.
