Tickets on Sale for Brogden Cup at USA Lacrosse Headquarters

By Brian Logue

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Brogden Cup at USA Lacrosse headquarters on the weekend of Oct. 25-27. The event features the USA Select U16 and U18 boys’ and girls’ teams competing against their counterparts from the Haudenosaunee Nation and Team Ontario.

Pre-sale tickets are available until Wednesday, Oct. 23 for just $5 per day or $12 for the entire event. After that, walk-up tickets will be available for $10 per day or $25 for the event.

The USA Select teams are part of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) at USA Lacrosse. Each year up to 1,500 of the nation’s top high school players participated in the various stages of the NTDP – regional tryouts, national combine and ultimately participating against international competition at the Brogden Cup.

Started in 1988 to honor former Johns Hopkins goalie Mac Brogden, who represented the United States in the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles, the Brogden Cup originally pitted post-collegiate club players from the United States against Canadian players.

Since 2019, Team Ontario, USA Lacrosse, and the Haudenosaunee Nationals have competed for the Brogden Cup to grow international competition for some of the best youth lacrosse players in the world.

As a bonus to this year's event, Sakai Crosse Youth from Japan will be in Sparks to compete in friendly exhibitions against the girls' teams competing for The Brogden Cup.
