The field for the 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals is filling up and just limited spots remain in the three age groupings (13U, 14U and 15U) in this prestigious national girls’ event.

The 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals are set for July 11-12 in Frederica, Del., at the DE Turf Sports Complex and will be run in partnership with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay for the third consecutive year. Teams can earn bids through historical performance or an application process.

For the third year in a row, coverage of the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals will be provided by LacrosseTV (formerly Lax Sports Network) with live streaming of the 14U and 15U championship games.

Last year’s event attracted a record 90 teams with the championship titles going to Hero’s 2027 Green (Md.) in the 13U age division, Yellow Jackets Manning (N.Y.) in the 14U bracket and STEPS Elite 2025 Navy (N.J.) at the 15U level.

Originated in 2009 as the USA Lacrosse U15 National Championships, this event has evolved over the years while attracting some of the top future stars in the sport — including recent USA gold medalists Sam Apuzzo and Alice Mercer, who both won national championships at this event before going on to star at the collegiate, professional and international levels.

DE Turf will be the home for this event for the fourth time since 2018. Conveniently located in Central Delaware, it’s just a short 30 miles from the Delaware beaches. Featuring 12 synthetic turf fields, five of which are lighted fields, and a championship field with seating for up to 700 spectators, this venue is a first-class sports destination venue to match the competition on its fields.
