Four New Volunteers Join USA Lacrosse Board of Directors

USA Lacrosse has announced that Tim Corrigan, Fielding Jamieson, Jennifer Russell and Gina Thomas have been named to its Board of Directors. Each of the four began two-year terms on August 1.

Corrigan is an Emmy winning VP of Production focused on NBA and all professional basketball on ESPN/ABC. The Charlottesville, Va., native a 1986 graduate of Notre Dame where he was a three-year letterwinner for the Irish in lacrosse.

Jamieson is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Tipt Ventures, a new venture capital fund dedicated to investing at the intersection of women and sports. Previously, Jamieson led innovation efforts at R/GA Ventures, including serving as the Managing Director of Trailblazer Venture Studio, and at Comcast NBCUniversal. An Atlanta native, she is a 2011 graduate of Yale where she was a captain on the women’s lacrosse team.

Russell is a Director of Principal and Major Gifts at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer care and research. A native of Andover, Mass., Jen was an All-American midfielder at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she was a finalist for both the Tewaaraton Award and Honda Award, and Captain her senior year in 2010. She was selected to participate in the U.S. national team program beginning in 2008 and won gold medals with the U.S. Women’s senior team at the 2013 (Oshawa, Canada) and 2017 (Guildford, England) Women's World Cup, as well as at The World Games in 2017 (Poland). At the 2017 World Cup, Jen was one of twelve players to garner All-World honors. 

Thomas is the head women’s lacrosse coach at the University of Cincinnati. Thomas has led the Bearcats program since 2013 and has led the school to double-digit wins each of the last three seasons, a first in program history. An All-American player at Ohio State, she previously served as an assistant coach at her alma mater and Duquesne. A native of Pottstown, Pa., she won two World Cups with the U.S. women’s senior team, earning All-World honors at the 2009 championship in the Czech Republic and was the player of the match in the semifinals in helping the U.S. to the 2013 title in Canada.
