Dwane Morgan Named USA Lacrosse Chief of Staff

SPARKS, Md. – Dwane Morgan, a results-driven strategist with a proven track record in data analysis, has been named to the newly-created position of Chief of Staff, Business Intelligence for USA Lacrosse.

“We’re excited to bring Dwane into this position focused on business intelligence and insight-led decision making,” said Marc Riccio, CEO of USA Lacrosse. “His experience will accelerate our ability to have an impact and he brings sophistication that will make us better.”

“I am thrilled to take on this role with USA Lacrosse because it offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and witness transformative progress firsthand,” Morgan said. “This position will allow me to leverage my skills in leadership and analytics to streamline processes and help drive data-driven decision making. Additionally, working closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders will enable me to contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and growth.”

The Chief of Staff serves on the leadership team for USA Lacrosse and ensures strategies and initiatives are prioritized according to the greatest impact opportunities that will advance the mission and goals of USA Lacrosse. Morgan will have a significant influence on developing and executing strategy for the organization, which is the governing body for lacrosse in the United States and serves more than 400,000 members. This is a pivotal period for USA Lacrosse as the organization gears up for the sport’s return to the Olympics in 2028.

Morgan most recently worked as the Head of Brand Research and Insights for Amazon Music. In that role, he spearheaded the strategic vision for product and marketing, aligning with emerging insights and market trends. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President for MarketCast, developing customized research plans for clients.

Morgan also served multiple roles with both Under Armour and Converse. At Under Armour, he was promoted to Director, Global Insights and at Converse, he was the Senior Manager, Consumer Insights and Market Intelligence before moving on to Under Armour.

A graduate of Cornell University, he serves on Cornell’s Dyson School Advisory Council. Morgan also earned an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
