Nearly 70 of the nation’s top youth girls’ club lacrosse teams will compete in the 2024 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals from July 9-10 at DE Turf in Frederica, Del. This is the fourth straight year the tournament will be held at DE Turf and run in conjunction with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay Lacrosse.
The tournament consists of three age brackets — 13U, 14U and 15 — and the 14U and 15U championship games will be carried live on LacrosseTV on Wednesday, July 10. The 14U game will air at 1:30 pm (Eastern), followed by the 15U championship game at 3 pm.
The 13U field features 24 teams, including eight of the Top 25 teams in the U.S. Club Lacrosse rankings — led by No. 2 ranked Team 91 LI Roar.
The 14U field also features 24 teams with No. 2 ranked Yellow Jackets Maget leading four squads ranked among the top 16 in the country.
In the 15U Division, Hero’s Green will look to complete a three-peat having won the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals at the 13U level in 2022 and the 14U level last summer. They are ranked No. 3 in the country, one of six teams in the 21-team field ranked among the nation’s Top 20. That includes No. 2 ranked Yellow Jackets Stadler.
This year’s USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals sponsors include the Delaware Tourism Office, Enovis, Gatorade, Lax Jewelry, MedStar Health, STEPS Lacrosse, Strokeside Designs and Top of the Bay Lacrosse. Gait Lacrosse and STX will both offer player demos with selected endorsed athletes on Tuesday.
