Mac Bredahl, the attackman who Tufts coach Casey D’Annolfo says “could be the best player to ever play at Tufts,” has been named the US Lacrosse Magazine Division III Men’s Preseason Player of the Year.

Bredahl, a junior, doesn’t have a huge sample size. He played in just 10 games as a freshman and then all four of the Jumbos’ games in 2020, and the signs were there for a major breakout. Bredahl was on pace for 101 points in the regular season had COVID-19 not ended the spring.

The former Villanova commit is also a member of the Tufts’ golf team.

There are lofty expectations for Bredahlt in 2021, which is why he’s the Division III Men’s Preseason Player of the Year.
