Saint Francis Elevates Morgan Gott to Head Coach

Following the departure of Tracy Coyne to Duquesne in mid-July, Saint Francis has elevated Morgan Gott to be head coach of the Red Flash.

Gott enters her third season with SFU in 2025. As an assistant the past two seasons, Gott helped lead the Red Flash to its best two-year stretch in their 25-year history.

In those two seasons, the Red Flash went 18-14 and 12-6 in NEC play, advancing to the NEC tournament for the first two times in program history. The Red Flash registered a program-record 10 wins in 2023 and an NEC-best seven victories in 2024.

Gott primarily worked with the defense as an assistant.

Gott has made various NCAA stops as an assistant after a four-year playing career at Coastal Carolina (2013-16). She has also helmed various club lacrosse teams.
