Women's Box Player ID Camps
USA Lacrosse will be hosting a series of Women’s Box Player ID camps between the months of May and August 2023, kicking off with one in Utica, N.Y. on May 21. The primary purpose of these camps is to identify and evaluate potential U.S. players for both the U.S. Women’s Box Training Team and the team competing in the first ever 2024 Women’s Box Championship.
- All players who desire a position on the Training Team or World Team are encouraged to attend one of the ID camps listed below.
- Players are allowed to attend more than one ID camp. Attending more than one ID camp does not guarantee a greater opportunity of making either team.
- All non-goaltender positions will be responsible for bringing their own equipment. Goaltenders who do not have equipment will be loaned equipment for the ID camp.
- All players will be responsible for their own travel and lodging. USA lacrosse will be providing meals in between the morning and afternoon sessions.
- There will be approximately 40 players selected for the USA World Team training camp in September 2023, which will be held at the Nexus Center in Utica, NY.
Player Eligibility
This is a U.S. senior-level team for female athletes. Athletes must have graduated from high school before (or in) Spring 2023. Athletes who will be enrolled in high school during the 2023-2024 academic year are not eligible to participate. Please note that an Active USA Lacrosse membership is required for the attendee of this event.
