University of PennsylvaniaZach Colburn was a standout defenseman at the University of Pennsylvania, helping the Quakers to Ivy League championships in 1983 and 1984. He earned second-team All-America honors in 1984 and then went on to a stellar career at the international and post-collegiate club levels.
Colburn was selected to the U.S. Men's National Team three times, helping the United States to International Lacrosse Federation World Championships in 1990, 1994 and 1998. He earned All-United States Club Lacrosse Association honors eight times and received the USCLA's Krongard Award in 1995.
He was inducted to the Philadelphia Chapter Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1999 and served on the board of US Lacrosse.
