Johns Hopkins UniversityInducted as a truly great player, at the time of his induction Del Dressel was one of only four players in collegiate lacrosse history to earn first team All-America honors four times. The midfielder helped Johns Hopkins University win the NCAA championship in both 1984 and 1985. He received the Lt. Donald MacLaughlin Award as the nation's top midfielder in 1984 and 1985 as well.
Dressel finished his career with 174 points (99 goals, 75 assists) and when he graduated, was the highest scoring midfielder in Hopkins history.
Dressel was inducted to the Greater Baltimore Hall of Fame in 2001 and at the time of induction resided in Towson, Maryland.
