Riorden is a unicorn, excelling at two distinct positions in different disciplines.

Riorden initally made his mark with the U.S. national team program in box lacrosse where he is a high-scoring forward. Riorden made his debut with the 2015 team, helping them to a bronze medal. Another bronze medal followed in 2019 and he was a captain for the silver-medal winning 2024 team.

But that's not the only place he shines. He's the best goalie in the world in field lacrosse, earning All-World honors in 2023 after leading the U.S. to a world championship.

Riorden's versatility has helped him carve out successful careers in both the National Lacrosse League and the Premier Lacrosse League. He started his NLL career with the Buffalo Bandits in 2017 and has played with the Philadelphia Wings ever since. Riorden has topped 30 points in the last six NLL seasons, including a career-high 73 in the 2023 season.

In the PLL, Riorden has been named the league's Goalie of the Year five teams, including the 2023 and 2024 seasons, and was the league's MVP in 2021 when he led the Chaos to the league championship.
