A veteran on the U.S. team, Becca Block remains at the top of her game after an outstanding summer in Athletes Unlimited

One of three returnees to the veteran U.S. team defense, Becca Block will be leaned on heavily at this year's world championship. A member of the national team program since 2012, Block is looking for her second gold medal.

Block has played in all three professional lacrosse leagues — UWLX, WPLL and Athletes Unlimited — and was named as the top defender in Athletes Unlimited last season.

After a long wait, Sam Apuzzo is ready for her first world championship. A member of the training team for the 2015 U.S. U19 team, Apuzzo did not make the final roster for the team that competed in Scotland for a world championship. There's no more sitting out this time. Apuzzo made her debut with the senior team at the President's Cup in Florida in November 2018 and is ready to wear the red, white and blue.
