SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse has introduced two new membership categories — a 6U membership and a young adult membership.

The 6U membership is designed as an introduction to the organization and is discounted to a price of $15 annually. The young adult category is for individuals aged 19 to 22 and is discounted to the same rate as the high school category at $35 annually.

“With the 6U membership we wanted to offer an introductory option for our beginning players and start delivering benefits that will help inspire their love for the sport,” said Brad Suchorski, director of membership for USA Lacrosse. “The young adult category is designed to help keep players connected to the sport past their high school careers. We’ve made the membership more affordable as a way to help keep them engaged whether they continue playing, begin coaching or officiating or just remain a fan of the sport.”

The discounted rates will automatically apply when memberships are purchased or renewed based on the member’s birthdate.
