SPARKS, Md. — The coaching staffs for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Box National Teams will hold instructional clinics for boys and girls players aged 12-17 at three locations over the next few months.

The U.S. box teams are led by head coaches Regy Thorpe and Ginny Capicchioni and both have recently named their respective coaching staffs. Thorpe and Capicchioni are both alumni players of the U.S. national team program and highly-respected coaches and teachers.

The instructional clinics will be held on the following dates:

  • May 21 – Utica, N.Y. (Men’s and women’s staffs)
  • June 25 – Voorhees, N.J. (Women’s staff)
  • Aug. 20 – Troy N.Y. (Women’s staff).

Each 60-minute clinic will be focused on on-floor drills and skill stations. Registration information is available here.

The U.S. box teams train and play using best-in-class products from Nike Lacrosse (apparel and footwear), DJO (sports bracing) and game-changing, high-performance equipment from Warrior.

In addition to these partners, Gatorade, MedStar Health, National Center for Safety Initiatives and Stryker are official sponsors of the U.S. national team program. Team training is also aided by products from Athletic Republic.
