SPARKS, Md. — U.S. Men’s Sixes National Team head coach Andy Shay has announced the 17 players who will compete against Colombia, Puerto Rico and Great Britain at the USA Lacrosse Experience later this month in Indianapolis.
It’s a lineup that’s flush with Premier Lacrosse League talent. Among them are 2024 PLL First Team All-Pro standouts Grant Ament, Matt Campbell, Asher Nolting and Michael Sowers and 2024 PLL Rookie of the Year TJ Malone.
Six players competing in Indy have previous world championship experience at multiple levels.
Sowers earned All-World honors playing midfield for the 2023 U.S. Men’s National Team that captured the gold medal last summer in San Diego. He was also an All-World attackman for the U.S. U19 team that won the world championship in 2016.
Liam Entenmann, Pat Kavanagh and Cole Kirst previously played together on the gold medal-winning 2022 U.S. Men’s U21 National Team in Limerick, Ireland.
Entenmann and Kavanagh went on to lead Notre Dame to consecutive NCAA championships in 2023 and 2024. Entenmann graduated as a two-time USILA Division I Goalie of the Year. Kavanagh won the Tewaaraton Award as the top player in collegiate men’s lacrosse this year.
The only current collegian on the 17-man roster, Jake Taylor, also plays for Notre Dame.
As for sixes experience, Ryan Conrad, Brian Tevlin and Ryan Tierney played for the U.S. team that finished in second place at The World Games 2022 in Birmingham, Ala.
Conrad is one of the most experienced and versatile athletes in the U.S. National Teams system, having previously suited up for the red, white and blue in 2016 (U19), 2022 (Sixes) and 2023 (Senior).

The U.S. plays Colombia and Puerto Rico on Friday, Oct. 11, and Great Britain on Saturday, Oct. 12., at Carroll Stadium.

Additional players will be on hand earlier in the week for a training camp Oct. 8-10 in Indianapolis. Sixes is a fast-paced 6v6 version of the sport that will be played at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. Before then, World Lacrosse will host inaugural world championships (men and women) in the discipline in 2027.
