Registration Opens for 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals

SPARKS, Md. — Registration for the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals, featuring top-tier girls’ 13U, 14U and 15U teams from around the country, is now open. 

The 2023 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals will be held July 11-12 in Frederica, Del., at the DE Turf Sports Complex and will be run in partnership with STEPS Lacrosse and Top of the Bay for the third consecutive year. Teams can earn bids through historical performance or an application process.

“The 2023 USA Youth Nationals promises to once again be a highlight of the summer club season for so many teams representing such a wide geographic diversity,” said Charlie Shoulberg of STEPS Lacrosse. “The competition and sportsmanship shown in 2022 was extremely impressive and we anticipate even higher demand to gain entry. The partnership with USA Lacrosse and Top of the Bay has exceeded all expectations — having a true age-based championship at the 15U,14U, 13U age levels is something we all can take great pride in.”

Team from across the country competed in one of the most unique experiences of the summer, marked by the highest level of competition and the highest level of sportsmanship,” said Krystin Porcella of Top of the Bay. “We are excited to continue the partnership with USA Lacrosse and STEPS Lacrosse to host the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals again at the first class DE Turf Sports Complex in 2023.”

A record 90 teams competed in the three age divisions during the 2022 USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals. The event, which traces its roots to 2009, has featured some of the top young players around the country for more than a decade.

Hero’s 2027 Green (Md.) won the 13U age division with a 7-2 win over Yellow Jackets Stadler (N.Y.), Yellow Jackets Manning (N.Y.) won the 14U bracket beating Aces Elite 2026 (N.Y.) by a 9-7 score and STEPS Elite 2025 Navy (N.J.) brought home the final title of the championship in the 15U division with an 8-4 win over Yellow Jackets Spallina (N.Y.).
