ESPN Networks to Carry 26 Games from World Lacrosse Box Championships

World Lacrosse announced on Wednesday that 26 games from the upcoming World Lacrosse Box Championships will be carried on ESPN Networks. The World Lacrosse Box Championships take place in Utica, N.Y. from Sept. 20-29.

The U.S. men have won the bronze medal at the previous five box world championships, most recently in 2019. This is the first time World Lacrosse has ever hosted a world championship for women's box lacrosse.

ESPN's coverage will include the gold medal games of both the men's and women's lacrosse tournaments on ESPN2 on Sept. 29. ESPNU will provided coverage of a men's doubleheader on Sept. 24 that includes the U.S. - Canada game. An additional 22 games will air on ESPN+, including the U.S. men's round-robin games against the Haudenosaunee and England and all of the playoff games for the men's and women's championships.

Additional coverage of the tournament will be available on World Lacrosse TV, including all of the U.S. women's round-robin games.
