A pair of New York teams won state championships to earn admission to the latest Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25.

Fairport (N.Y.) won an overtime thriller for a state title, and Skaneateles (N.Y.) avenged its championship loss last year to Bronxville (N.Y.) after it edged Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) in the semifinals. Their title wins propelled them to Nos. 17 and 20, respectively, and forced the movement of others.

Victor (N.Y.) pushed ahead of both of them after it rallied to knock Garden City (N.Y.) down a few pegs and capture its second straight state Class B championship. Wilton (Conn.), Garden City (N.Y.), and Massapequa (N.Y.) remain in the Top 25 after deep runs in their state tournaments.

Agnes Irwin (Pa.) drops a spot, and with two new teams added to the Top 25, New Jersey state champion Oak Knoll (N.J.) is squeezed out.

Only a few states remain in action, and the final rankings will be out when all are complete. Continue below to see the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25 for this week. All results are through Monday, June 12.
