NORTHEAST

Molly Hiney, St. Anthony's (N.Y.)

In a star-studded battle of future Division I stars, it was Molly Hiney who shined brightest. The Johns Hopkins-bound senior had four goals and two assists, while causing key turnovers and securing draw controls for St. Anthony’s in a 13-8 home win over Darien (Conn.). The victory extended the Friars’ winning streak to 37.

“Molly was dominant in the win over Darien, leading by example on both ends of the field, using her athleticism and high lacrosse IQ to elevate everyone around her,” Friars head coach Darcy Messina said. “Her all-around performance was a driving force behind our success.”

MID-ATLANTIC

Emma Penczek, Manchester Valley (Md.)

The senior midfielder led the Mavericks to a 3-0 week, including a pair of wins over top-level competition, on her way to a milestone. Penczek finished the week with 17 goals, eight assists, 19 draw controls and four caused turnovers.

In a 15-2 win over a Century (Md.) team that had lost just once, she had seven goals, three assists, seven draws and a caused turnover. In a 15-5 win over previously unbeaten Severna Park (Md.), she amassed five goals, four assists and seven draw controls as a force at both ends of the field. 

She registered her 350th career draw control and sits tied with Lizzie Colson for the school record for career points with 396. Penczek is committed to Clemson.

Lily Phillips, Plant (Fla.)

Against a team that averages over 13 goals per game, Lily Phillips stopped 17 of the 25 shots she faced in a 13-8 victory against Manatee (Fla.). The junior goalie has a 4.0 goals against average so far this year, with a save percentage of .590%. She has been the goalie of record in all 19 of Plant’s wins this year.

Ella Larva, Rockford (Mich.)

Talk about doing it all. Larva tallied five goals and an assist across the Rams' two wins this week, over previously undefeated Forest Hills Central (Mich.) and Brighton (Mich.) in a state title game rematch. Larva also had eight draw controls and seven caused turnovers this week as Rockford continues to establish itself among Michigan's top teams alongside East Grand Rapids.

Leele Bigelow, Valor Christian (Colo.)

Junior Leele Bigelow scored a hat trick in both of Valor Christian’s victories last week. She added one ground ball and five draw controls against Fairview (Colo.) while picking up two ground balls and two draw controls against Kent Denver (Colo.).
