It was another weekend in which top-10 teams squared off, as Salisbury hosted William Smith, and the result made some slight changes to the USA Lacrosse Division III Women's Top 20.

The Sea Gulls defense held the Herons to one goal in the second half — keeping them scoreless for 30 minutes in one instance — and junior midfielder Julianna Ott scored a career-best four goals to go along with five draw controls in the victory.

Ithaca had a big week, too, moving up to No. 13 after a pair of victories, including a 19-10 win over Roanoke behind six goals, four assists and 11 draw controls from junior midfielder Lily Cody. Cody had another two goals, one assist and four draw controls in the team’s 16-12 victory over RIT.

Two new teams, St. John Fisher and Haverford, joined the Top 20 this week. The Cardinals remained undefeated with a 19-4 win over SUNY Cortland. A big game against Ithaca looms this weekend. Haverford earned three victories in the week, against Shenandoah, Messiah and Christopher Newport.
