Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Athletes Unlimited Season 3 has officially arrived.

The women’s professional league kicked off another season at USA Lacrosse headquarters on Thursday night.

In Game 1, Sam Apuzzo scored three second-half goals to clinch an 11-10 win over Team Mastroianni and earn MVP honors.

In Game 2, defending champion Taylor Moreno got off to a fast start en route to an 8-4 victory over Team Read.

2. More on the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel delivering decisions on changes for 2024.

In men’s lacrosse, video review has been expanded after the controversial finish between Duke and Penn State this past May. Click here for more on the changes.

The panel announced multiple women’s rule changes, including the expansion of one-minute releasable penalties, but did not pass a proposal introducing 6-v-6 play and 11-v-11 in total. Click here for more.

3. Cortland men’s lacrosse head coach Steve Beville announced his retirement Thursday.

Beville finishes his career after 17 years at the helm of the Red Dragons program, picking up 255 wins and the 2009 national championship. Click here for more on his coaching career.
