1. World Lacrosse approves legislation and reinforces priorities ahead of LA28.
World Lacrosse passed significant legislation and addressed key priorities at a 2023 World Lacrosse General Assembly, a virtual meeting attended by more than 100 participants on Saturday. The World Lacrosse Event Sanctioning Policy marked the most noteworthy legislation passed. The policy will serve as a framework for which international events World Lacrosse sanctions and clarifies the sanctioning process from approval to supervision, according to a World Lacrosse press release.
