Shortly after she signed an NIL deal with STX, Boston College and U.S. Women’s U20 National Team attacker Emma LoPinto was asked to describe her playing style in three words.

Her answer?

“Smooth, confident and happy.”

It helps to have a stick that allows you to play with such freedom.

For LoPinto, it’s a mixture of STX’s signature lines. She uses an STX Aria Pro handle with an STX Crux Pro head.

“As an attacker, I love this stick because it has great hold and it’s lightweight,” said LoPinto, the World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship MVP. “I’ve been playing with it for a long time.”

Veteran to Young Gun

LoPinto, 20, was the lone player on the U.S. U20 team with three years of college experience — two at Florida and one at Boston College. It showed. She had 26 goals and 23 assists during the United States’ dominant run to a gold medal in Hong Kong over the summer.

Now LoPinto will play the role of young gun. She’s one of 11 current collegiate players among 44 competing with the U.S. senior team this weekend at the IWLCA Presidents Cup in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.

Pro Tip: Dodging from X

Step 1: Initiate your dodge and protect your stick.

Step 2: Get above goal line extended and square your hips.

Step 3: Fake and finish.
