Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The U.S. men’s national team wrapped up training camp at Duke on Tuesday and will now set its sights on the World Lacrosse Men’s Championship opener a week from today in San Diego. “Home Soil” debuts tonight (7 p.m. EDT) on Next Level Sports and Entertainment.
2. Two of three Premier Lacrosse League games this weekend in Columbus, Ohio, have sold out, the league said on social media Tuesday. Friday’s Waterdogs-Atlas game coincides with the first Columbus Air Show since 2007 and will feature a national anthem flyover by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium’s official capacity is 2,147.
3. Dominican University is elevating its men’s and women’s lacrosse programs from club to varsity and will compete at the NCAA Division II level effective immediately, the school announced Tuesday.
4. The latest Nike/USA Lacrosse high school rankings came out Tuesday. Here are the reports.
