Dialed In: Your Lacrosse Fix for Tuesday, June 20

1. U.S. Men’s National Team name captains.
   Three-time U.S. Men’s National Team member Jesse Bernhardt, reigning world championship MVP Michael Ehrhardt and 2018 gold medal game hero Tom Schreiber have been tapped as captains for the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship. The games begin Wednesday in San Diego.

2. Retirement? Maybe, maybe not. But first, RP3 wants gold.
   Is this summer the last time we’ll see Rob Pannell play lacrosse? He dodged that question. He’s focused on striking gold in San Diego. Dylan Butler with more from “The Maestro” of the U.S. Men’s National Team.

3. Kevin Cassese headed to UVA as associate head coach.
   Lehigh head coach Kevin Cassese will become the associate head coach at Virginia after 16 years with the Mountain Hawks, according to a report from Inside Lacrosse. He replaces Sean Kirwan, who took the head coaching job at Dartmouth.

• Lexy Biller has joined Xavier’s staff as an assistant coach after standing out on the draw circle during Lindenwood’s first year as a Division I program.

• The Chaos took down previously-undefeated Archers, 15-10, behind a 19-save performance from Blaze Ri, one of the highlights of PLL week three. The Waterdogs’ Connor Kelly also finds himself among rare air. Jack Goods returns with a PLL notebook.

• McDonogh defenseman AJ Marsh has been named Baltimore Sun’s Player of the Year, headlining the publication’s All-Metro boys’ team.

• Tom Gravante and Mount St. Mary's have parted ways after 28 years.
