Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Conference tournament action picked up across the country yesterday, and you can expect more over the next several days.

There were just four Division I games — all on the women’s side — with Queens picking up the most notable result. The first-year Division I program dispatched Kennesaw State 14-8 in the first round of the ASUN tournament. Coastal Carolina beat Lindenwood 17-11 in the ASUN’s other first-round contest.

2. The PLL is on the precipice of a massive change.

According to an exclusive report from Sportico, the PLL is working on “Project Next” — a format-changing undertaking that will see the league adopt geographically affiliated cities, states or regions for each of its clubs.

The PLL declined comment on Sportico’s report, which suggests that this would begin following the 2023 season.
