Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

  1. Pace ends season at No. 1 in Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II women’s top 20 for the first time
Pace scored the first 13 goals of the Division II national championship game, won the thing for the first time in program history and sits atop the final Nike/USA Lacrosse rankings. Runner-up West Chester comes in at No. 2, finishing the season at 22-1. No. 3 Florida Southern, No. 4 Tampa and No. 5 UIndy rounded out the top five. Full rankings.

  2. National champion Lenoir-Rhyne takes the top spot in the final Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II men’s rankings
Another first-time champion, Lenoir Rhyne, earned the No. 1 spot in the final Nike/USA Lacrosse Division II top 20. Mercyhurst, also the NCAA runner-up, is No. 2, while Le Moyne finishes at No. 3. No. 4 Limestone and No. 5 Rollins completed the top five. Full rankings.

  3. Charlotte North shines in her first season as a broadcaster.
If there were a Rookie of the Year award for lacrosse broadcasting, this writer would humbly nominate Charlotte North. North, who will suit up for Athletes Unlimited this summer, swapped her stick for a microphone and provided analysis during the 2023 men’s and women’s college seasons. “It’s kind of crazy how good she is already,” Paul Carcaterra told me.
