1. The PLL Championship Series wrapped up a thrilling first night at The St. James.
The league’s inaugural Championship Series, featuring an adaptation of World Lacrosse’s Sixes format, kicked off on Wednesday night in Washington D.C. Atlas launched two-pointers en route to a 29-16 win over Whipsnakes, and Arches followed with a 23-22 win over Chrome in the second game of the doubleheader.

2. Loyola women cruised to a win over Towson in a busy Division I slate.
Syndi Black dropped seven points and Meg Hillman scored four times to lead the Greyhounds to the 16-5 win over the Tigers.
