Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The U.S. U20 women’s team wrapped up its three-day training camp on Wednesday.
The camp, which took place at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., featured the 42-player training team, which will eventually be cut down for the World Lacrosse U20 Women’s Championship next August in Hong Kong, China.
The focus of training camp was twofold — on-field improvements and off-field chemistry building. That’s how Brigid Duffy, a standout Army midfielder, became fast friends with one of her biggest rivals, Navy midfielder Maggie DeFabio.
Duffy, DeFabio and Army’s Allison Reilly are also the first three service academy players to be make a U.S. women’s training team.

2. Our Way Early Top 25 rankings continued Wednesday with Nos. 15-11.
MEN
This grouping of men’s teams includes five programs that figure to be knocking on the door of the top 10, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they end up being mainstays in the top half of the Top 20.

The five women’s teams highlighted on Monday include three Big Ten teams, an AAC power and a surprise Patriot League contender, all of which have high hopes for further improvements in 2024.
