Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Maryland women’s lacrosse improved to 25-0 all time against Johns Hopkins, but the Terps didn’t cruise to an easy Big Ten win.
Trailing 11-10 with 8:37 left after Georgie Gorelick scored for the Jays, Maryland ripped off three straight — one each by Shaylan Ahearn, Libby May and Kori Edmondson — to take a 13-11 lead. Maeve Barker scored with 2:10 left to cut the deficit to one, but Shannon Smith won the next draw for Maryland, and the Jays never took another shot on cage.
