1. Down goes No. 1 in Division I women’s lacrosse in a chaotic night.
Syracuse met Boston College at SU Soccer Stadium on Thursday night with an unbeaten regular season on the line. The Orange led by as many as six goals in the ACC battle, but Boston College mounted a comeback that included two goals in the final three minutes to seal a 17-16 victory.
Meaghan Tyrrell became Syracuse’s all-time leading scorer in the midst of a thriller, but the Orange will settle for the No. 2 seed in the ACC tournament. Click here for the full game recap.

2. The Tewaaraton race is down to 25 of the nation’s best players.
The Tewaaraton Foundation announced the 25 remaining nominees for the sport’s most prestigious award, for both men’s and women’s lacrosse.
On the women’s list seven returners from 2022 and two former finalists (Meaghan Tyrrell and Izzy Scane). Click here for the full list.

3. The NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship is headed back to ESPN platforms.
Every game from the women’s NCAA tournament will be presented on ESPN platforms for a second straight year. The quarterfinal and semifinals will air on ESPNU, while the championship will aur on ESPN.
