Maryland sophomore goalie Megan Taylor was sensational on Saturday in a 17-7 win over Syracuse, making 18 saves as No. 1 Maryland handed the No. 4 Orange their first loss of the season. The 18 saves were a career high for Taylor.

Taylor, a second-year starter who ran her career record to 27-1, now has a 57.3 save percentage for the season, ranking fifth in the country. Taylor, the Big Ten Goaltender of the Year in 2016, has already been named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week three times this season.
