New Canaan Nabs No. 1 Spot in Final Public High School Girls' Ranking

New Canaan (Conn.) is ranked No. 1 team in the final USA Lacrosse Public High School Girls' National Top 25 of the 2024 season.

There are seven new teams in the top 25 along with myriad newcomers in each of the five regions.

Summit (N.J.) made one of the biggest jumps after winning a state title. Cold Spring Harbor (N.Y.) and Victor (N.Y.) ride state championships into top-10 rankings.

Sayville (N.Y.) and Cape Henlopen (Del.) are the only unbeaten teams in the top 25.

New Canaan (Conn.), Severna Park (Md.), Milton (Ga.), Olentangy Liberty (Ohio), and Oak Ridge (Calif.) finish the year atop their respective regions.

National and regional rankings are compiled by USA Lacrosse Magazine writers with input from coaches around the country.
