Every Tuesday during the high school lacrosse season, USA Lacrosse updates Regional Top 10 and National Top 25 rankings to reflect the results of the previous week. Below are the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ Regional Top 10 updates through games played May 14.

Darien (Conn.) and Bayport-Blue Point (N.Y.) remain at the top of the Northeast Region after continuing perfect seasons. New Canaan (Conn.) moved up and dropped Wilton (Conn.) after continuing its mastery in a head-to-head win. Wantagh (N.Y.) slid down after a late-season loss but still has playoffs to rebound at the most important stage.

The Mid-Atlantic Region rankings were nearly the exact same after most results fell in line with previous rankings. McDonogh’s (Md.) win in the IAAM A Conference championship sealed an unbeaten season in the toughest conference in the country. Archbishop Carroll (Pa.) moved up one spot after becoming the first team to upend Springfield-Delco (Pa.). Episcopal (Pa.) also reinforced its spot in the Top 10 with a second win over a strong Agnes Irwin (Pa.) squad. Maryland public playoffs continue, and Pennsylvania’s district tournaments begin this week.

A pair of regular champions pace the South Region. American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) took the state title for the second time in three seasons while No. 2 Milton (Ga.) won a sixth straight state title. No. 3 Hockaday closed a perfect season, and No. 5 Blessed Trinity (Ga.) and No. 6 Bartram Trail (Fla.) were crowned repeat champions. St. Michaels (Texas) joined the rankings at No. 10 after reaching the state title contest.

The top eight teams kept their spots in a Midwest Region that is led by a well-rested Loyola Academy (Ill.). New Trier (Ill.), Upper Arlington (Ohio) and Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) continue to put pressure on the No. 1 with very good seasons of their own. Hinsdale Central (Ill.) moves up one spot to ninth after a perfect week with a big win in it, and Dublin Coffman (Ohio) breaks a tie for the No. 10 spot thanks to a significant victory.

The top two ranked teams in the West Region remain unbeaten. Colorado Academy (Colo.) is onto the state semifinals while San Ramon Valley (Calif.) can celebrate after finishing the job with a section title. Colorado Academy faces the lone newcomers to the rankings — No. 10 Cherry Creek (Colo.) — for the chance to reach the championship game. Cherry Creek’s addition is also the only change in rankings.
