Kate Theofield, Smithtown West (N.Y.)
Theofield has had a perfect start to Smithtown West’s perfect season.
The Rutgers commit was front and center for the Bulls in a signature 12-10 win over nationally ranked Sayville (N.Y.), contributing five goals and seven draw controls. The senior followed with four goals and two assists in a 15-6 win over Kings Park (N.Y.).
Through four games, Theofield has 16 goals and three assists for 4-0 Smithtown West.
“Kate has been a force for us offensively and on the draw circle. Her athleticism shows in between the 30s and on the ride,” Smithtown West coach Vincenza Patrone said. “Her leadership and ability to stay poised under pressure is what sets her apart. She has been a true impact player, and we are only three games in.”

After the Falcons suffered a rash of injuries in the first weeks of the spring, they needed players to step up. Walsh has responded. The junior attacker sparked the offense to a 5-0 week. She scored 21 goals, including five in a win over nationally ranked Milton (Ga.), amassed 10 assists, won 43 draw controls and forced seven caused turnovers on the ride.
Walsh is committed to Denver.

Katula put together an impressive performance amid a trip to the Mid-Atlantic. Against Good Counsel (Md.), she scored three goals with one assist and five draw controls. Against Potomac (Va.), she had 2 goals, including the eventual winner.
She has established herself as one of the top players in the Class of 2027, as she was named the MVP in last year’s ILWomen Summer ID Experience.

Madeline Pohmer, Olentangy Liberty (Ohio)
The senior star played a huge role in the Patriots' 3-0 week, coming up clutch against top competition. Pohmer had four goals apiece against top teams from Illinois (Hinsdale Central) and western Pennsylvania (Pine-Richland).
Not that she's simply a scorer. Pohmer's efforts included five caused turnovers against the Red Devils and eight draw controls against the Rams. She was particularly well-rounded against Pine-Richland with four goals, four assists and three caused turnovers to go with the eight draws, as she finished the week with 10 goals, seven assists, nine caused turnovers and 19 draw controls.

Ghosh, a Stanford commit, powered St. Ignatius’ attack against rival Sacred Heart (Calif.) with nine goals on 11 shots, including the overtime game-winner, in a narrow 14-13 victory. The junior attacker converts scoring opportunities at an 82 percent rate, showcasing her ability to maintain composure under pressure.
