USA Lacrosse High School Boys' Players of the Week
The USA Lacrosse Players of the Week recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.
NORTHEAST
Tyler Moore, Connetquot (N.Y.)
Tyler Moore has taken his game to another stratosphere, and it’s coming at the perfect time for Connetquot (N.Y.). The senior midfielder has helped lead the T-Birds to second place in the Suffolk Division I standings heading into the final week of the regular season and the St. Joseph (PA) commit is coming off a monster week where he eight goals and 17 assists in three straight wins.
The lefty, a three-sport star at Connetquot, had four goals and five assists in a 19-0 win over Brentwood (N.Y.), two goals and three assists, including the winning helper in overtime, in a 12-11 victory at Half Hollow Hills (N.Y.), and then capped the week with two goals and nine assists in a 17-11 triumph over Sachem East (N.Y.). For the season, Moore has 39 goals and 45 assists for 84 points which tops Long Island’s scoring chart.
“He’s been a game changer for us. We try to push tempo and play fast and he’s a huge part of it,” Connetquot coach Brett Jeffares said. “He sees things ahead of the play and creates so many opportunities for us.”

MID-ATLANTIC
Cam Taylor, Salesianum (Del.)
Salesianum had never beaten Malvern Prep (Pa.) until last Saturday when Taylor made 21 saves to keep the Sallies in the game until Braeden Korb notched the game-winner in a 10-9 overtime victory. It capped a huge week in which Taylor also came up big time and again for Salesianum in a 10-6 win over archrival Cape Henlopen (Del.) in a battle of the best two teams in the First State. Taylor, a sophomore, allowed only one goal in the first quarter as the Sallies jumped out to a 5-1 lead that they would retain. The perfect week enabled Salesianum to improve to 9-3.

SOUTH
Caden Harshbarger, Lake Mary (Fla.)
Caden Harshbarger demonstrated why he is one of the top recruits of the 2024 class. The UNC commit scored a hat trick in the biggest game of the year, helping Lake Mary to a 13-5 win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.). In Lake Mary's 16-6 semifinal win over Plant (Fla.), Harshbarger scored four times and added a couple of helpers. Harshbarger scored 49 goals this year.

MIDWEST
Colin Vickrey and Tade Wynn, Culver Academy (Ind.)
Another Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Association championship wasn’t going to come easy for the Eagles. Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) made that clear, racing out to leads of 3-1 and 5-3, pelting the net throughout the first half. Colin Vickrey kept Culver in the game with nine saves (against just five goals allowed) in the first half, giving it time to rally. And Tade Wynn? All he did was make 13 saves (against just six goals allowed), including a beautiful save on a knee-high bullet to his left midway through the overtime period. Oh, and that save ended up turning into a fast break that led to Nicholas Roode’s championship game-winner.
Also notable: Cade Faulkner, St. Viator (Ill.); Aidan McDonald, Culver Academy (Ind.); Eddie Miller, Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.)
