This season, USA Lacrosse will celebrate the accomplishments of players across Divisions I, II and III each Tuesday with Player of the Week recognition. Players of the Week are selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors based on a variety of factors, including individual performance and impact on team success.

DIVISION I

IZZY SCANE, NORTHWESTERN

It must be fun to be Izzy Scane. When healthy — and she clearly is now — there are few (if any) offensive players across the nation who can dominate like she does. Scane tied her own single-game program record with 10 goals against Notre Dame, then she overcame a tough first half against Boston College to score four goals in something of an upset win. With 14 goals and three assists last week, Scane is a no-brainer for Player of the Week.

DIVISION II

QUINN MALCOLM, UINDY

Quinn Malcolm, a senior attacker, tallied nine goals and seven assists in two blowout wins for the defending national champion Greyhounds. Malcolm had four goals, two assists and two caused turnovers in a 15-9 win over Walsh, then she exploded for a career-high 10 points (5G/5A), along with three ground balls and one caused turnovers, in a 22-2 pounding of Findlay. UIndy is off to a  3-0 start with a 20-game winning streak dating back to last season.

DIVISION III

GRACE KOUTOUZIS, ROANOKE

Roanoke picked up its first ranked victory of the year by topping Denison 14-4 behind five goals and two assists from Grace Koutouzis. She added two ground balls and one caused turnover for good measure. A sophomorre, Koutouzis had 19 goals and 10 assists last season and appears well on her way to surpassing both marks this spring.
