Quinnipiac announced Wednesday that women’s lacrosse head coach Tanya Kotowicz is leaving the program and that associate head coach Jordan Christopher will assume head coaching responsibilities as the interim coach.
Christopher is in her eighth season with Quinnipiac.
The news release, which is just four sentences long, did not give a reason for Kotowicz’s departure. Kotowicz had served as the Bobcats’ head coach since 2017, compiling a 38-64 overall record (18-33 in conference).
Quinnipiac opens its 2024 campaign on Wednesday, February 21, on the road at Yale.
