It's one thing to beat the week's No. 5 team. It's another thing to completely dismantle them.

Michigan ran circles around Johns Hopkins in a 13-2 win on Sunday, leading to a five-spot jump to No. 11 for the Wolverines in the latest USA Lacrosse Division I Women's Top 20 update.

Calli Norris (5G), Kaylee Dyer (4G, 2A) and Jill Smith (3G) provided more than enough punch for a Michigan defense that held the Blue Jays to a 2-for-23 shooting day. Erin O'Grady made 12 saves to swat away the shots that did come here way, and Michigan forced its Big Ten rival into 17 turnovers.

The legitimacy of the statement win by Michigan will quickly be put to the test when it heads to No. 3 Northwestern on Thursday.

Princeton also climbed five spots, moving to No. 5 after a Wednesday win over Stony Brook and a Saturday win over Columbia. Now 11-1, Princeton has tests from three capable Ivy League teams on its remaining schedule — Penn (April 16), Brown (April 19) and Dartmouth (April 26).
