There was a week of relative normality in the topmost portion of the USA Lacrosse Division I Men's Top 20.
The top four remain the same from a week ago, and Notre Dame has claimed the No. 5 spot after demolishing Duke. Army (No. 8) and Harvard (No. 10) are new to the top 10.
Michigan is still surging after beating Johns Hopkins for its second consequential Big Ten win. The Wolverines are up to No. 12.
But any of the interesting storylines rest near the very bottom of the Top 20.
Fairfield has fallen from No. 13 to No. 19 following its first loss of the season, which came at the hands of Stony Brook. The Seawolves, who are 5-5, are on the fringe of the Top 20 following the win.
It is Dartmouth and UMass making the headlines this week, though. Dartmouth, coming off a 3-10 season, is 7-2 and just took No. 4 Princeton to the brink. That alone says quite a bit about just how fair Sean Kirwan has taken his team.
UMass is fresh off an Atlantic 10 win over Saint Joseph's, 11-10. Eight players scored for the Minutemen, which successfully overcame the chaos-inducing defense of the Hawks.
Continue below to see the entire Top 20, which is compiled by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors.
