Tufts No. 1 in USA Lacrosse Division III Men's Preseason Top 20

Defending NCAA champion Tufts is No. 1 in the USA Lacrosse Division III Men’s Preseason Top 20, USA Lacrosse Magazine announced Monday.

Tufts doesn’t open its season until March 1 at Connecticut College, but much of the Division III world begins play on Saturday.

Salisbury, which fell in overtime in the NCAA quarterfinals to Washington and Lee, falls in behind Tufts at No. 2. RIT, the 2024 NCAA runner-up, is No. 3.

Preseason rankings are compiled by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with consultation from college coaches.
