WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the second round of additions to the 2023 Tewaaraton Award Men’s and Women’s Watch Lists. The lists include the top players across all three divisions of NCAA lacrosse and highlight the early contenders for this year’s Tewaaraton Award.
“Now that teams are in the heart of their conference schedules, the competition is becoming even more intense and more players are rising to the occasion. These additions are players who have stepped up and have earned their way onto our 2023 Watch Lists,” said Andy Phillips, President of the Tewaaraton Foundation. “The Tewaaraton Foundation would like to congratulate these players on their outstanding play thus far, and we wish them and their teams the best of luck for the rest of this season.”
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are comprised of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.
On April 20, the field will be narrowed to 25 Men’s and 25 Women’s Nominees. Nominees can be players from the Watch Lists or not from the Watch Lists, effectively allowing for a third round of additions.
Five men’s and five women’s finalists will be announced in early May and will be invited to the Tewaaraton Award Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on June 1.
See the second-round additions below and continue on to see the initial 50 players who were announced on February 10.
