Athletes Unlimited is suspending its women's lacrosse league after four seasons, the organization announced Wednesday.

Runk coached Towson for 31 years, winning a NCAA College Division championship in 1974.

The WLL will feature four teams, playing in the Olympic Sixes format, competing for the inaugural WLL Championship Series trophy.

Shea Baker (Boston College), Brigid Duffy (Army) and Madison Taylor (Northwestern) will lead the U.S. in pursuit of its sixth junior world championship next month in Hong Kong.

Season 4 returns to USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., on July 18.

The league also announced new skills competitions for this weekend in Louisville.
