WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the 2025 men’s and women’s Nominees for the Tewaaraton Award presented by Stifel. The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are composed of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.

Five men’s and five women’s finalists will be selected from these groups, to be announced May 8 at the conclusion of the regular season. They will be honored May 29 at the 25th Tewaaraton Award Ceremony presented by Stifel at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, in Washington D.C.

“As presenting sponsor of The Tewaaraton Award, Stifel congratulates these talented players for being named Tewaaraton Nominees for 2025," said Ron Kruszewski, Chairman and CEO, Stifel. “The leadership and success they have shown on the field are truly exemplary, and we wish them the best of luck in the season's final stretch."

The men’s Tewaaraton Award Nominees include players from 15 different schools, led by four from Army (including one at each position), three from Cornell and two each from Maryland, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Syracuse. Just four men’s players return from last year’s Nominees: 2023 Tewaaraton Finalist CJ Kirst (Cornell), Sam King (Harvard), Coulter Mackesy (Princeton), and Joey Spallina (Syracuse).
