NCAA Men's Championship Game Rematch Set for Atlanta

Bobby Dodd Stadium, the oldest on-campus stadium in FBS football and home of Georgia Tech, is set for a must-watch lacrosse matchup in 2025.

Built in 1913, Bobby Dodd will play host to the NCAA championship game rematch between Notre Dame and Maryland on March 1, 2025, at noon Eastern as part of the Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational.

The neutral site game will see the Irish and Terps face off for the first time since Memorial Day, when Notre Dame dominated Maryland 15-5.

All proceeds from the neutral-site game will benefit Shootout for Soldiers.

Bobby Dodd Stadium holds 55,000. 

There will be a little Georgia flavor in the game, too. Rising junior attackman Braden Erksa deposited 24 goals for Maryland in 2024 and hails from Marietta. Notre Dame midfielder Fisher Finley is from Alpharetta.
